Social Security Administration’s Presidential Management Fellows Benefit From TSOD Presentation Skills Training

(Baltimore, Maryland) Training Services On Demand (TSOD) provided a series of presentation skills workshops for Presidential Management Fellows at Social Security Administration Headquarters in Baltimore. This workshop series marked TSOD’s fifth invitation to the Presidential Management Fellows’ Core Training Symposium.
Through a series of instructional sessions and videotaped practice presentations, participants refined and polished the skills associated with compelling presentations and adult learning experiences, including presentation planning, platform techniques, using audio/visuals, and overcoming objections. Additionally, participants received individualized coaching aimed at optimizing knowledge transfer.
The Social Security Administration (SSA) is an independent federal agency that implements social programs, including federal old-age pensions and disability insurance. SSA was established by the Social Security Act of 1935 as the Social Security Board, and was subsequently renamed the Federal Social Security Agency. The present title was adopted in 1953.
